<p align="center"><font size="4">Good mooring my lovelies and by the time you are reading this, myself and my Nikkie should be on our <font size="4">merry way to the NEC for the Christmas Crafting show.
<br>
<br>Anybody going?
<br>Come and say hello if you are – I’ll be on the Crafty Devils stand with my Tonic goodies, including the amazing Kaleidoscope Box (my fave product of the year - I LOVE this)</font></font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">So today I’m sharing another project I made with the Tonic Kit #2</font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">
<br>And ….</font></p>
<p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-FeHDpo3QDXw/WfhkixDDkHI/AAAAAAAAb2g/iD8v1maUCpYqM6w81cCdCG_MZYmm0f3twCHMYCw/s1600-h/DSCN2054%2Bcopy%255B5%255D"><font size="4"><img width="675" height="726" title="" style="display: inline;" alt="" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-zc_tOTTBg6Q/WfhkjrvepxI/AAAAAAAAb2k/sq62spAAaYQtrivxXmOdl5Hnff_BeRHLQCHMYCw/DSCN2054%2Bcopy_thumb%255B2%255D?imgmax=800"></font></a></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4"></font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">… this is it.</font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">You get a sample pot of Radiant Gold Gilding Flakes and a Nuvo Glue Pen to use with them.</font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">So I splodged (technical term lol) some Nuvo Glue onto one of the Poinsettias in the kit and let it go tacky, then I literally just rubbed the gilding flakes in.
<br>
<br>Ditto the holly leaves.
<br>
<br>
<br></font></p>
<p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-ZP6wTd-BMvM/WfhkkmltgVI/AAAAAAAAb2o/Aj97CT-1Xwo-SuuGFZ75lGIynuBjel3cgCHMYCw/s1600-h/DSCN2053%2Bcopy%255B6%255D"><font size="4"><img width="587" height="579" title="" style="display: inline;" alt="" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-2EhjhhR9-9g/Wfhklti3fQI/AAAAAAAAb2s/46JfEkCEh-Y0Ul8NuhwS3zHjKdOGdPXoACHMYCw/DSCN2053%2Bcopy_thumb%255B3%255D?imgmax=800"></font></a></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">Very simple but quite effective I think.</font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">I used the largest outside edge die to form the base card.
<br>You’ll need to chop a little bit off of the bottom edge point so that it stands up but it creates a lovely shape I think.
<br>
<br>
<br></font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4"></font></p>
<p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-SWUCZ677oEc/WfhkmWjixNI/AAAAAAAAb2w/hZIYWyEhF3cyzYOUJQS38Qmq_a3pH8_xACHMYCw/s1600-h/DSCN2056%2Bcopy%255B5%255D"><font size="4"></font></a><font size="4"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IhEisbBrfoI/WfhknkcvEBI/AAAAAAAAb20/WXQoRxpQaVYYmYyy0L9XIH93js1H1XaKwCHMYCw/s1600-h/DSCN2056%2Bcopy%255B10%255D"><img width="620" height="388" title="" style="display: inline;" alt="" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-8kD06AJen6M/WfhkoIL-tbI/AAAAAAAAb24/JikcOGcMAPU8T2oF1nUBr4cz4vapdTBgQCHMYCw/DSCN2056%2Bcopy_thumb%255B7%255D?imgmax=800"></a></font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">
<br>So that’s my make for today and I promise I won’t leave it so long until next time. <br><=>I have lots of samples from the shows to share so I better get them photographed and on here when I get back!!</br<=></font></p>
<p align="center"><font size="4">Until then, happy crafting and crafty hugs to all.</font></p>

<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4"></font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4">So what have I got to share today?
<br>Well I’ve been having a play with the new Tonic Kit #2 and it is LUSH.
<br>You know me and colour, well as soon as I opened the box I was hooked!! The reds and golds are beautiful so I thought I’d make a couple Christmas cards. </font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4"></font></p>
<p align="center"></p>
<p align="center"></p>
<font color="#000000" size="4">
<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4">And this is the first one.</font></p>
</font>
<p align="center"></p>

<p align="center"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwKh5NKVSnhvpx6tzF4DH3OeGu68XTwJR-Kwa-Hoc2I2Gpn-aUViGja5oVtRP8TT9DGsh5aUYsYw93cnvPcmZGbGc-xQtorrVDWRVQ7QLxetHB845QoInmOmor-X-5ZqzBk_eOpOI1RZM/s1600-h/DSCN2058+copy%255B9%255D"><font color="#000000" size="4"></font></a><font color="#000000" size="4"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiwKh5NKVSnhvpx6tzF4DH3OeGu68XTwJR-Kwa-Hoc2I2Gpn-aUViGja5oVtRP8TT9DGsh5aUYsYw93cnvPcmZGbGc-xQtorrVDWRVQ7QLxetHB845QoInmOmor-X-5ZqzBk_eOpOI1RZM/s1600-h/DSCN2058+copy%255B9%255D"><font color="#000000" size="4"><img width="675" height="794" title="" style="display: inline;" alt="" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_Iyb4WNw49g/WfheUFg7daI/AAAAAAAAb1k/FRi_7nmQ5dws-n4dUsWlGKFUofDX_2OzwCHMYCw/DSCN2058%2Bcopy_thumb%255B6%255D?imgmax=800"></font></a></font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4"></font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4">It’s such a simple card to put together and it’s got quite a contemporary twist with the 3 sentiments.
<br>The only thing I added that wasn’t in the kit was the tartan ribbon.

<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4">I’m not sure you can see but I didn’t stick the sentiments all the way down – the right hand edges are left free. </font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4"></font></p>
<p align="center"><font color="#000000" size="4">The little holly leaves were cut from the smallest die and I coloured them with the pens that come with the set.

I’ve used them in different ways for my samples and I’ll share them with you over the next few days.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">My first sample is very straight forward and it’s a typical ‘me’ plain and simple style – I’m a plain and simple sort of girl at the end of the day!!</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">And ….</font></p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-IsnsyDXxNuU/VrDrNL-V5wI/AAAAAAAAa3c/gs9NGsczuG0/s1600-h/1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB%25255B4%25255D.jpg"><font size="3"><img title="1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB" style="display: inline" alt="1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-891x21L_7LQ/VrDrNgj-c1I/AAAAAAAAa3g/81RF1cIbfX4/1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB_thumb%25255B2%25255D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="675" height="602"></font></a></p> <p><font size="3"></font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">… it’s this one here.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">It was made mainly using up some scraps I had laying about. <br>I don’t know about you but there’s something about this colour combi that really appeals to me.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">I’m not going to get hung up on which size dies I used because you can make this as big or as small as you want. <br>This would also work using either the Bowscale or the Harrop set – I used the Harrop here.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">For the base card, I used a regular shop bought card blank and lined up the notch of one of the larger scallop dies with the fold and cut it out. But I wanted the scallops on all sides, so I cut another one out from Kraft card, added some stitching detail with a black pen and just stuck it onto the top of the base card.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">Then I used the smaller scallops and cut out one in red, one a bit smaller in gingham card and finally one in white and I layered them all together onto the card.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3"></font> </p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-im1-VLBBhHc/VrDrOKvlOZI/AAAAAAAAa3o/uU1O_SIM8wI/s1600-h/1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB1%252520copy%25255B5%25255D.jpg"><font size="3"><img title="1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB1 copy" style="display: inline" alt="1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB1 copy" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-_g4MfEtxVvE/VrDrOjSkzGI/AAAAAAAAa3w/sGAzIWL_cpE/1216E_CARDSAMPLE31_1000_RGB1%252520copy_thumb%25255B2%25255D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="469" height="364"></font></a></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">The gorgeous sentiment is from the Tonic Studios Miniature Moments Die Collection and this is Sent With Love. I simply cut one out of black card and another from red and just popped the little red heart ‘negative’ into the space in the black die cut.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">The three little red hearts are actually from the heart die in the Patchwork Perfection Everyday Squares set – very sweet I think.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3">I hope you like my card and thank you for stopping by today.</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3"></font> <font size="3">Crafty hugs, Dawny xxx</font></p> <p align="center"><font size="3"></font> </p> <p align="center"><font size="3"></font> </p> <p><font size="3"></font></p>Dawny Phttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12835153033529696952noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2826474496399080696.post-47307604068701047282016-01-06T23:00:00.000-08:002016-01-06T23:00:06.006-08:00The Cat’s Whiskers<p align="center"> </p> <p align="center">Good morning crafty friends.</p> <p align="center"><br>I’ve got another Pampered Pets show card to share with you today and once again I’ve used Kittens Whiskers – I love this die a LOT.</p> <p align="center">And ….</p> <p align="center"><a href="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-vVmoFjkPG9U/Vo2cz0YYOeI/AAAAAAAAa18/W2cbqRKMA78/s1600-h/DSCN1636%252520copy%25255B5%25255D.jpg"><img title="" style="display: inline" alt="" src="https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-kbtn19RTy4g/Vo2c0jjiwDI/AAAAAAAAa2A/FzeBz0zu1eI/DSCN1636%252520copy_thumb%25255B2%25255D.jpg?imgmax=800" width="675" height="1052"></a></p> <p align="center">… here’s what I did.</p> <p align="center">I cut little kitty out of black card from an <strong>Essential Card Pack – Monochrome </strong>and I stuck some white card behind it and undercut it.
